Pawnee Schools Now Open To Those Looking for a Warm Place to Power Walk?

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!

Looking For A Place
To Get In Out Of The Cold
To Power Walk?

Again this year, we are pleased to announce that, starting
Monday, November 30,
our doors will be open on school days between
6:15 and 7:45am
and again at
5:30 PM
for those looking for a warm, dry place to walk.
Please park in front of the building and come in through the elementary doors.
 No pre-registration is required.  

Just like last year, the north gym will be available,
as will our informal “walking track”
layout through the elementary and junior high halls.
We do ask that when we are hosting
home basketball games that our
evening power walkers stay
in the north gym or upstairs hallway
in order to avoid the basketball crowd. 

We will continue to host our daily power walkers
until the weather begins to cooperate
consistently in the spring.
(Of course our attorney and
insurance carrier will insist that
we inform you that the district
assumes no liability for anyone
utilizing the building for exercise!!)  

Finally, we know that the current harsh
economic climate affects everyone in one way or another.
This facility is here because of you,
the taxpayers of the district.
We want to make this opportunity
available to you as a simple way to
“Thank You”
for your continued financial
and spiritual support and to give back something
to you, the families and friends of
Pawnee School District #11.
