Disruptions
Every
time a classroom is disrupted with a phone call, a knock on the
door, an unexpected visitor, loud hallway noise etc., 4% of
the learning going on at that time is lost. This percentage
number can accumulate quite rapidly, causing loss of focused
learning. Therefore, we ask that you communicate all
necessary information regarding transportation arrangements,
appointments, etc. with your children before they come to school.
They can then bring a note with complete details to also
inform us. Forgotten lunches, coats, etc. should be brought
to the office for timely distribution. Messages for your child
during the school day should be kept to a
minimum.
We have an excellent school with great support and cooperation between school and community. Students are welcomed daily by a caring, dedicated staff who are committed to educating your child. The messages here are meant to maintain our safe and quality learning environment!
