MindUniversity was founded in 1999, and is an approved provider of professional development by the ISBE, offering online courses and learning management systems for K-12 teachers. It is owned and operated by educators whose vision it is to be the leading advocate assisting teachers in becoming masters of creating and sharing digital information.

Thanks to a grant received by the Regional Office of Education in Springfield Illinois, I was able to become a MindUniversity member in Spring 2006 simply by attending a workshop designed and presented by Dianne Fulton, ROE Technology Director.

I’m impressed with both the concept and the practical applications MU has for use with students and parents, in addition to the excellent forum it provides for educators to share. It is especially helpful to those of us who want all the benefits of, but don’t have time to set up our own site on the World Wide Web.
